AUDIOMETRIC TEST CENTRE
Our Audiometric Test Centre is registered with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), Malaysia.
What do we cover?
Screening Audiometry
Screening Pure Tone Audiometry (PTA) for workers exposed to high noise at workplace.
Medical Examination
Medical examination by Occupational Health Doctor for workers with abnormal audiometry findings. OHD is responsible for the reporting and notification after the medical examinations.
Referral to ENT Specialist / Audiologist
In some circumstances, in order to assist with diagnosis of occupational health diseases or to rule out any non-occupational health diseases, further referral to ENT specialist may be required. Referral to audiologist would also be necessary for hearing aids, hearing rehabilitation as well as further testings.
HEARING CONSERVATION PROGRAM
Hearing Conservation Program is also enforced in accordance with the latest legal requirements in Industrial Code of Practice for Management of Occupational Noise Exposure and Hearing Conservation which came into enforcement on June 2019 as a guidance to comply with the provisions of Occupational Safety and Health ( Noise Exposure) Regulations 2019 which have been gazetted on 1st of March 2019, replacing the Factory and Machinery (Noise Exposure) 1989.
